Naruto: Sakura vs Sasori.


What’s up people? Been a minute. I know I know, I had to get my stuff together before I dropped this piece and that meant watching all 7 episodes of this particular part in Naruto (7 episodes is a very long journey for me okay cut me some slack). And yes, today we are talking about Naruto Shippuden. OG things. I had heard a lot of noise and seen memes about a fight where Sakura had merc’d an Akatsuki member. Now when I heard this, "I thought damn my girl has got her grove now and ain’t no way she is getting bossed around again". 

Before we get into this, yes, I recently started watching shippuden and all I can say for myself is; it’s not my fault. Sometimes you see a 500 episode anime and it makes you panic. But I do know a lot about it than you might think. Without further ado, IKUZOR.

 First of all, if you have not seen Naruto you are either a hater (mostly DBZ hard core fans), a non anime person (I don’t know what you are doing here but thank you for being here) or even though you are into anime you aren’t into the OG type stuff- which is understandable.
Long story short, this show is about a teenager who wants to become the strongest and most powerful ninja in his village. These people are called Hokage. But he’s not the topic for today, today, we talk about his teammate; Sakura.

 Based on popular beliefs,  Sakura Haruno is arguably the weakest member on the team. Stressing on arguably in every way possible. But on the other hand, can be the most powerful character if she really wants to be *laughing face emoji*.  

Earlier in the show, my girl Sakura took on one of the members of the Akatsuki clan. The Akatsuki is a clan of badass rouge ninjas from different villages who are together for power and world domination. This member Sakura fought was Sasori, a puppet master. She didn’t fight this man alone though (obviously), she had help in the most important way.

In the beginning of the fight, I thought Sakura was so cool. The way she handled herself, her movements, her attacks, hell she showed a level of intelligence like never before. I was honestly amazed. But it turned out everything I was seeing was not what it seemed. Remember I said Sakura had help? That help came from one of the elders from the sand village named Chiyo. Long story. You’ll have to watch the show.

Now this old woman did roughly 70% of the fight whereas my girl Sakura did a solid 30% in my not so humble opinion and if you have watched the show or know anything about that fight you will or at least be inclined to agree with me. Sakura put herself in positions where this old woman had to save her multiple times and some of their plans involved Sakura being controlled. If we are being honest, Chiyo Baasama could have taken on Sasori if she was younger cos that woman was a straight badass and you could tell, which made me appreciate the fact that these two generations of fighters complemented each other quite nicely. This because the old lady made use of Sakura’s youthful strength while Sakura also took advantage of the old lady’s battle knowledge.

Sasori on the other hand, was one scary opponent. Not gonna lie, the dude was giving me goosebumps and ish challe. And if I’m being honest, I thought he was more scary and badass when he was in his puppet suit and I liked him better in that form.

P.S. Speaking of the Akatsuki, my favourite member has to be Zetsu don’t ask me why.

I have officially started downloading  almighty One Piece and also started watching Akame Ga Kill! And I pray I don't become part of the OP cult. Wish me luck.

Black Clover: Royal Capital Assault Arc

Hey there fam, once again here I am with another piece to make noise about. And today, we are back on that Black Clover action. Not long ago, I wrote about my first impressions on this show and that was based on the first 5 episodes. I knew I had a long way to go. Naruto: Tenchi Bridge Reconnaissance Mission Arc Review

Hello my comrades, it's a nice day or night- whatever time you are reading this. Today we talk about one of the OG TV shows, Naruto Shippuuden.
